No reports

FOOTPATHS

  1. The stile at rear of Village Hall EE271B to be repaired
  2. The stile at footpath at EE260 Tickenhurst to be reported to Kent County Council
    1. PARISH INFORMATION BOARDS

      Councillors discussed the design and format of the notice boards including photographs and QR code and preferred type of structure. It was agreed that the project will be finalised in the new financial year.

HIGHWAYS

  1. The Chairman requested a follow up from Kent County Council on the 20MPH improvements following the end of the consultation period

PARISH DEFIBRILLATORS

  1. Councillor Phillips confirmed the receipt of the new cabinets.  Hard wiring work to be completed as soon as possible.

WILD FLOWER MEADOW MILLENNIUM FIELD

  1. Councillors discussed the alternative ways to manage the field.   White Cliffs Countryside Partnership and Maria Himsworth from Chillenden to be consulted.

COUNCILLORS RESOLVED TO INCREASE THE PRECEPT BY 5%

WRITTEN CORRESPONDENCE

ACTION: Clerk requested to write to Goodnestone Park about the overgrown land by pathway to Fairfield

COUNCILLOR REPORTS ON PARISH MATTERS

Councillor Phillips reported on the maintenance of the Memorial at Knowlton. Clerk to investigate.

PUBLIC CONTRIBUTION TIME

Further discussions took place with the members of the public about Millennium Field and Platinum Celebrations

The Chairman thanked members of public for contribution.
