Goodnestone village website
There will be road closures in Chillenden at various times during the period from Monday 7th to Friday 18th February. The closures will take place on Griffin Hill and between Station Road and the windmill.
The closures are taking place so that Openreach can complete the works needed to deliver superfast fibre to Chillenden.

Following a consultation in early 2021, at the October meeting, the Parish Council agreed to the introduction of 20mph speed limits in Goodnestone and Chillenden.
As required as part of the process, Kent County Council has issued a notice of the proposed changes and a consultation. The consultation is open until noon on 31st January 2022. The January meeting of the Parish Council will take place on Wednesday 26th January at 7.30pm in Goodnestone Village Hall. The meeting agenda will be published on this website and on the noticeboards three clear days before the meeting.
