Following a consultation in early 2021, at the October meeting, the Parish Council agreed to introduce new 20mph speed limits in Goodnestone and Chillenden.
Kent County Council issued a consultation as required as part of the process. The consultation closed at noon on 31st January 2022.

On 16th February, Kent County Council issued a further public notice to clarify that Park View and Manicom Close are also included in the speed limit reductions to 20mph. A further consultation is open until 14th March 2022.
