PARISH COUNCIL RESPONSE DOVER DISTRICT COUNCIL LOCALPLAN

Councillors discussed the draft letter of objection to be submitted to Dover District Council in response to the Local Plan proposed developments within the Goodnestone Parish. As agreed at the Parish Council meeting 24th February.

It was agreed the letter was a reflection of the local community response to the development proposals and Councillors were unanimous in agreement to submit via the Local Plan Portal.

A copy of the objection letter to be circulated via Village News and Goodnestone Parish web site.

VISION ZERO DISCUSSION AND PUBLIC RESPONSE

Councillors discussed the KCC strategy and consultation questionnaire. It was agreed the strategy was a sensible approach to achieve zero road deaths.

Councillor Turner Brown and Councillor Hawksworth had attended the KCC Road Safety Meeting and it was agreed Councillor Turner Brown would complete the questionnaire and submit to KCC by 15th March deadline.

It was noted the Questionnaire had been circulated for any member of the public to complete and submit.
