APOLOGIES
Councillor Hawksworth COVID 19PUBLIC CONTRIBUTION TIME
The Chairman welcomed Kevin Holyer to the meeting and invited Mr Holyer to speak for allocated ten minute public contribution time.
Mr Holyer thanked PC for response to large road pothole repair in Chillenden.
Mr Holyer requested that the PC supported the need to raise awareness of tree /hedgerow cutting in conservation areas.
Mr Holyer raised the concerns of a shipping container in The Griffin Public House grounds.
Mr Holyer stated that no update had been received concerning Chillenden House Planning application.
In response The Chairman confirmed that he was aware that a retrospective planning application had been submitted. The Chairman confirmed that the Vice Chair would be formulating a response and submit to the Planning Officer.
The Chairman thanked Mr Holyer for contribution and attendance.

DISTRICT COUNCILLOR REPORTS
The Chairman welcomed Councillor Bartlett.
The following items reported
- Business recovery supported by DDC through the Back to Business Support Hub providing support to help small business and local enterprises
- Financial Recovery for 2021/2022 currently on DDC agenda
- 2.5 million regeneration fund received Brexit
- Veolia retained contract for further 5 years for recycling and waste operations
- Upgrade on CCTV coverage including Aylesham
- Community Grant Scheme available with funding for various projects
- Rubbish Cleanup Campaign ongoing
- Local Plan Government White paper awaiting consultation. All local Parish Councils urged to respond to Ministers
- Heritage Lottery awarded 4.2 million Grant to Historic Grade 1 Listed Building Maison Dieu in Dover Town Centre
LAND TO REAR OF CHILLENDEN VILLAGE HALL
Councillor Bartlett agreed to investigate the issue and respond accordinglyCOMMUNITY POLICING/NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH
Clerk reported that the representative for Neighbourhood Watch in Chillenden had removed her contact details. Clerk subsequently emailed NW scheme to discuss at later date.
Jacqui Brooks local Police Support Officer is continuing to circulate local reports.
FOOTPATHS
Various incidence of fly tipping continue to be reported to KCC. In most cases response has been quickby the teams.
EE487 Knowlton Footpath modification has been concluded. All paperwork when received to be placed on file.
HIGHWAYS
Various potholes in Parish reported accordingly using DDC reporting system.
The Griffin Pub advertising sign at top of Chillenden Hill reported as hazard however KCC reported back with no action
SPEED CONTROLS
No further information available until KCC resumes Highway Modification work. Councillors stated that the project to introduce 20mph restrictions in Goodnestone and Chillenden remains a priority.
STREET LIGHTING
Inactive Street Lights reported accordingly. Councillor Aldington had reported on light outside 5 Boyes Lane. Councillor Bartlett to respond.
LETTER GOODNESTONE PARISH CHURCH
Councillors discussed the letter received from Roddy Baker on behalf of Goodnestone Holy Cross Church requesting support for funding of disabled access. Councillors requested further information on each specific scheme, fundraising, value for money quotes.

PLANNING
The response to the Governments White Paper was discussed. Councillors agreed to action a letter to Ministers as advised by Leader of Dover District Council.
WRITTEN CORRESPONDENCE
Clerk reported on the ongoing dog fouling in the Parish. Unfortunately DDC are unable to fund further dog bins due to financial restraints. Clerk agreed to look at costings and report back to PC.
