PLANNING
- Planning Applications
- DOV/24/00259
Proposal: Erection of a agricultural building for the housing of cattle
Location: Agricultural Land North of Station Road, Chillenden, CT3 1PP
The planning applicants left the building and the Parish Councillors discussed the application in detail.
RESOLVED to support the application, advising DDC of three concerns, they request that the maximum amount of screening in terms of hedging and trees is planted around the building, due to the low position of the proposed large building there are concerns about the run off from rain water leading to increased flooding on Station Road as it is a flood plain, lastly they would like to ensure that there are adequate controls to ensure that effluent from the cattle does not end up with rainwater in the drainage system.
The Planning applicants then re-entered the room and were thanked for putting their case so well.

PUBLIC CONTRIBUTION TIME: A short session set aside for parishioners to raise matters. Individual contributions should be kept to less than 5 minutes.
Final questions were taken by the applicants.
