The Village Hall which is attached to Forge Cottage, was once the village forge. Evidence of this can be seen in the garden, where wooden cart wheels were placed on a metal circular disc to have metal rims put on them.

The new classroom is now complete, so the hall is no longer in use by the school. Groups can use the hall in the evenings and weekends as before. As the hall is due to be redecorated over Easter it will be unavailable for bookings during this period.
