Thursday 2nd June 2022
11:00am – 1:00pm Turning the sweeps of Chillenden windmill
Thursday morning 2nd Jun at 11.00am we will be turning the sweeps at Chillenden Mill. This is subject to the right wind strength and direction. If the wind is unsuitable, the mill will be open, and will be suitably bedecked for a Jubilee weekend!2:00pm – 4:00pm Village Games – Fairfield, Goodnestone
A sports day for everyone big and small including, tug-of-war, rounders, three-legged-race, egg & spoon race. Sign up at either The Griff or The Fitz for the Tug of War team and just turn up on the day for some family fun!

7:00pm – Bonfire and BBQ – Barry’s Field, Chillenden
Bonfire & BBQ in the field next to Chillenden’s Village Hall from 7.00pm, bonfire lighting from 8.00pm. Mobile bar available courtesy of The Griffins Head. Tickets for BBQ £5 per adult, children free.

10:30am – 12:00pm – Community Litter Pick – Chillenden to Beech Grove
A gentle stroll around the roads and public footpaths of Chillenden and Rowling to clean up any litter. All equipment supplied (bring your own gloves). From 1230 , local residents are cordially invited by the Bruderhof to attend Beech Grove for refreshments.

3:00pm – 6pm – Step Back in Time Afternoon Cream Tea – Goodnestone Village Hall
Just turn up and join Christine and Viv at the Village Hall and step back in time to celebrate the Jubilee with Afternoon Cream Tea. Enjoy art displays by Goodnestone CE Primary School and a collection of historic photos showing Goodnestone Parish across the last 70 years, music and royal memorabilia.
