There has been a large increase in rural crime, especially metal theft – and that includes within the parish.  HOWEVER – if crimes / suspicions are not reported then the Police are unable to dedicate extra resources to the area.  Please contact the police if you see any suspicious vehicles, people, or if you are the victim of crime, no matter how small the offence.  When crime is reported the police are then able to build up a picture of the area and of vehicle movements – they have strong suspicions as to who is responsible but need our help.  To report a NON-EMERGENCY please dial 101 – this takes you through to Kent Police who can take down all the details.  Whether it is the theft of a salt bin or petty vandalism please contact the police.
